3 Kernel panic Mac OS X Lion

Salve ragazzi,
da sabato il mio iMac fa un po' le bizze.
Mi capita infatti (oggi per ben due volte) che scenda quella deliziosa tendina grigia che dice "io non ce la faccio più, devi riavviare". Preciso che stavo usando solo vlc e photoshop elements, niente di sconvolgente per un computer con 4 gb di ram. Cosa devo fare?

Con Snow Leopard questo problema non si era mai presentato, lo fa solo in questi ultimi giorni.
Devo backuppare tutto, avvio da disco esterno, formattazione completa e faccio una clean install di Lion? C'è un metodo più veloce? Grazie mille a tutti per il continuo supporto e la velocità delle risposte.

Si meglio, succedeva anche a me , poi ho formattato e tutto ok, poi Lion di suo è un pó ingolfante speriamo negli aggiornamenti!
